Sailboat racing is an integral part of Wheeler Yacht Club and we invite you to join our fleet. While most club racers retain a slip at the marina, we encourage competitors with trailerable sailboats from the surrounding area to join in the fun and competition. We participate in area regattas as well as our Spring and Fall Club Series in racing and cruiser classes. Contact Us to find out more.
Cruising events are planned excursions to venues around our home waters. Sail and power boaters are encouraged to participate. Over night stays are not unheard of and the comradship of fellow boaters is close at hand.
On-Water activities could include youth sail/boat training, clean up efforts or "how to" boat handling seminars.
