Wheeler Yacht Club

• encourage boating and seamanship

• organize and stimulate yacht racing and cruising

• provide a medium for exchange of sailing and power boating knowledge, safety, and techniques

• support and promote environmental conservation and improvement to Alabama's lakes, waterways, and local marinas

• promote social activities for its members

Our Program 
Wheeler Yacht Club is open to sail and power boaters alike and was established to promote boating fun on Wheeler Lake through recreational, social, and educational activities.  Based at beautiful Joe Wheeler State Park near Rogersville, Alabama, the Club maintains an active program of events throught the year including:

• Club races and regattas
• Sail and power boating instruction
• Cruises and raft-ups
• Socials and theme parties
• Annual dinners and breakfasts
